Charters and Corporate events.
Charters typically run through the summer and are tailor-made to suit your requirements. The MRX fleet is one design which makes all 11 boats evenly matched.
We offer a number of formats and styles of racing. Our boats are moored next to RNZYS and we partner with them and other clubs at Westhaven for your event, prize giving and food and beverage requirements.
A truly special package can be arranged for your next corporate event.

Regatta
A mini-series of three or four short windward/leeward (upwind/downwind) races run directly off the Westhaven Marina. Our most popular format, close exciting racing, great for team building or interdepartmental / branch competition. Multiple starts add to the excitement of the short courses and keep everyone involved.
Each yacht must have a MRX approved experienced skipper and all crew wear life jackets at all times and complete a full safety briefing on the dock before departure.
There is a maximum of 8 crew per boat.

Harbour course
A scenic and traditional race around the harbour buoys. A more relaxed race or cruise environment that lets all onboard soak up the views of Auckland's magnificent harbour.
This format allows for more sail training if that is what your crews would like.
Each yacht must have a MRX approved Skipper and all crew wear life jackets at all time and will complete a safety briefing on the dock before departure.
